Off-Road is proud to introduce our Magnum Grip Dual-gate performance shifter for the 2017-19 Can-Am Maverick X3. The Magnum Grip dual gate shifter features CNC billet aluminum construction, ergonomic design for a modern aggressive look, replaceable middle of the night polycarbonate side grip plates and spring loaded stainless steel trigger for positive locking and unlocking out and in of gears. This trick shifter features both a gated shift pattern and a “Hill Killer” shift gate pattern that was once designed for use as a safety device when attempting steep hill climbs. This is done by dropping the shifter down into the lower Hill Killer shift gate, which eliminates the reverse lockout feature of the ratchet gate plate and ensures quick shifts when needed from forward to reverse gear to save the front end from going over backward when climbing steep hills. The shifter gate assembly is constructed from heavy 304 stainless steel for precise shifts and durability. Other features include MIL-Spec anodized finish, bushing rod, and trigger. Includes all necessary hardware and easy to follow installation instructions. Be sure to try all of the colors and finishes of side grip plates to be had for the Magnum Grip shifters to customize your Maverick’s interior. Warning: It is Not advisable to intentionally and/or repeatedly go from a forward gear to a reverse gear whilst moving for fear of personal safety, and to steer clear of potentially damaging drivetrain components of your vehicle.
