When you buy our 6” Portal Gear Lift for your Honda Talon 1000X, you get a say in what kind of housings we use (cast or billet aluminum) and how much gear reduction you get.
If you’re the kind of rider who likes to push your machine to its limits in terms of power and tire size, a 45% gear reduction is right up your alley. If you’re looking to increase your cornering abilities on the trail, go with a 30% gear reduction. Either way, you can’t go wrong.

Bearings That Rock

We use roller bearings to hold our idler gear because we don’t compromise when it comes to strength. Our output bearing is a double-angular contact bearing, which can handle huge loads in all directions without showing premature wear. These bearings truly are built for battle.

Whether you go with cast or billet, both housings use:
- Advanced Thermo-Tork gaskets with excellent oil resistance and a lower deterioration rate than Kevlar gaskets
