Shark Bite Instigator Series Stage II Performance Front & Rear Steering and Suspension Package for 1963 – 1966 Corvette, with Big Block Engine. High performance “plus” for ultimate street performance and occasional track or autocross. The foundation of this package is the innovative Shark Bite Front & Rear Coilover suspension and the legendary Steeroids Rack & Pinion Conversion Kit. The coilover kit converts your classic Corvette to front & rear coilover suspension, featuring medium rate springs, fully adjustable ride height, and rebuildable double adjustable silver anodized shocks. This kit converts your C2 to truly independent rear suspension – no more of the coupling from left to right you get from the factory multi-leaf or aftermarket monoleaf springs. Shark Bite kits load the same location on the vehicle as the factory spring loads, feature race inspired rocker arm design, and works with factory exhaust and factory spare tire. The Steeroids Power Steering Rack & Pinion Conversion Kit is lighter weight & quicker ratio, saving up to 25 Lbs. over the stock steering system and reducing the steering input to approximately 2.5 turns lock to lock. This kit will reuse your OE column, and is designed for power steering vehicles, reusing the existing power steering pump. The Aluminum Differential Cover Kit provides a stronger cover than the bulky OE cast iron, and is 12 Lbs. lighter than the original, with an increased interior diameter allowing for the installation of larger ring & pinion gears, includes bosses for plumbing a cooler and comes with a magnetic drain plug, vent, gasket & 12-point bolts. Also included are Performance Front & Rear Sway Bars, and Shark Bite Adjustable Rear Strut Rod. This package comes complete with all necessary Hardware, Fasteners & detailed Installation Instructions. All included components are entirely bolt-on with no welding, cutting or drilling required.
