Quantum’s HFP-386 includes a new direct fit UC-T35 fuel pump, polyethylene strainer (safe with modern ethanol-infused pump gasoline), new Viton o-rings, and new wiring leads (which often get damaged when the housing is separated to replace the pump).
- This pump installs directly into the OE assembly and does not require canister modifications of any kind.
- The pump is dimensionally and functionally identical to the OE pump motor.
- The installation kit includes several items designed to extend longevity beyond the original pump. A Viton ethanol safe fuel pump o-ring, new wiring leads, and an ethanol safe polyethylene strainer are included. With pump gasoline now infused in most parts of the country with as much as 15% ethanol, compatibility with multiple fuel blends is crucial for all fuel pump components–not only the pump itself.
