The fully welded construction of the sheet metal brake makes this sheet metal brake strong enough to bend 14 gauge mild steel sheet metal over its whole length of 120-inches to a maximum of 135 degree. The superbly machined bending leaf pivots ride in precision bushings that let for better bend tolerances and not more operator fatigue. The bending apron of the straight brake also has two massive counter weights to lend a hand with bending at maximum capacity.
