The X409-WRA-JK 9-Inch Weather-Resistant Navigation System with Off-Road Mode is a mech-less (no CD/DVD) in-dash audio/video/navigation (AVN) system that is Alpine engineered for the 2011 – 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and fits all models including Sport, Sport S, Sport Altitude, Sahara, Sahara Altitude, and Rubicon. The X409-WRA-JK has a weather-resistant touchscreen and bezel rated IP53 for protection against dust with limited ingress and freshwater spray up to 60-degrees vertical. The high-visibility screen has been engineered to adjust to low or high sunlight for maximum clarity when driving. The screen is housed inside a stunning, rugged dash bezel with integrated control keys and takes style cues from the Jeep Wrangler that results in a matching factory fit and finish. Activate the built-in Off-Road Mode when taking your Wrangler off the beaten path. The off-road centric user interface displays vehicle data (tilt angle, tire pressure, battery voltage, GPS coordinates), tracking of trail distance/time, and compass readings. The X409-WRA-JK has a large, 9-inch WVGA High-Visibility Display with Capacitive Touch Screen and Swipe Graphical User Interface that is optimized for in-vehicle smartphone use so drivers can access Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the touchscreen or “Microphone” button. Apple CarPlay is compatible with iPhone 5 and later (iPhone must be connected via Apple lightning cable). Android Auto requires both a USB cable and Bluetooth connection, an Android phone running 5. 0 (Lollipop) or higher, and the Android Auto app. Use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to make and receive calls, access text messages, play music and get directions in a way that allows the driver to stay focused on the road. The Off-Road Mode camera interface delivers three viewing modes (Ground, Tire, Panorama) to help view uneven terrain during rock crawls or trailing. If your vehicle has multiple camera systems, the KCX-C250MC Multi-Camera Selector (sold separately) allows them to be easily controlled right from the X409-WRA-JK’s 9-inch touchscreen. The names of the connected camera systems appear on the main screen, so simply select the camera system you want to use. You can then choose the viewing option from that camera to be displayed on the screen. The X409-WRA-JK can host and control up to eight accessories directly from the touchscreen by adding the optional KAC-001 External Accessory Controller (sold separately). Assign graphical icons to the accessories for quick identification and control them through a pulsed, latched, or momentary output. Audio entertainment sources include a built-in HD Radio Tuner , Pandora via a smartphone, iPod/iPhone music, various music file formats including FLAC/MP3/WMA/AAC/HE-AAC playback via USB and SiriusXM compatibility (tuner and subscription required).
