Stephane Peterhansel took the overall lead in the 2013 Dakar Rally on Sunday around the city of Pisco, Peru.
It was the 60th career stage win for Peterhansel, who has 10 overall victories under his belt. He completed the 149-mile stage in two hours, 38 minutes. American Robby Gordon finished 13th.

Subaru is recalling 2009 through 2012 Foresters, all Legacy and Outback vehicles from model years 2010 and 2011, and some Tribeca vehicles from model years 2006 through 2012 for faulty puddle lights.
Those are the lights under the mirrors. Road salt can cause them to short circuit, possibly causing a fire. There have no reports of injury so far. Subaru will contact owners next month.

Sunday was the Roar Before the 24 at Daytona Speedway, which is the final shakedown before the 24 hours of Daytona in two weeks.
Michael Valiante was the fastest driver, in a Michael Shank Racing Ford-Riley. Memo Rojas was second fastest in the number 01 Ganassi BMW-Riley and Sebastien Bourdais was third. More than 100 cars showed up, and there were no major incidents.
