Well it was the ultimate redemption for me. Two weeks before 2009 Top Truck Challenge I went to do a test pull at the VTPA Casa De Fruita event. I built the hitch the morning of at about 3:00 AM, and it failed at launch. I built it for rock crawling, but man is this thing a blast to pull with. My pull at the Stanislaus County Fair Truck and Tractor Pull in Turlock was only about 10′ less than guys that are set up to do this every weekend in the top class. Little tires, counter weights, and big turbos. I’m still running the stock 03 Turbo with Hypermax Injectors and Mach 7 System backed by a BD Transmission and stock Tcase. I can’t wait to try one on one of my street trucks. Oh well, the weight of the Cement Truck was 35K Lbs. The Cummins powered buggy took 2nd and a bad ass Orange 500 Cube Chevy Powered 4 Seat Buggy took 3rd. The Cummins Buggy took the hole event due to consistency and steady driving. There is a lot of crazy crazy video that even us competitors couldn’t get videos of. It’s definitely worth buying. I was there and I can’t wait cause there was even so much we missed. The Four Wheeler Magazines hit the news stands the end of this month with the lineups. Buy em all, not to see me we didn’t perform, but because that’s what pays for them to continue to throw this event for the public.

Snapped the front winch line the week before and just didn't have time to get it fixed so might weight wasn't balanced properly. But more than that the hole idea doesn't work. The rear wants to follow the front and with the wight of the vehicle on to different paths the energy of the sled kept pulling the rear back over. Same theory if your pulling someone out that's stuck. Two trucks trying to pull it out at an angle may not produce a much pulling force a one pulling in a straight line.

Wow. That's a pretty bold statement. If I would have known that the Top Truck Challenge Baja Claws specially made for TTC would have such a deep tread depth I would have been happy to try them. All of the other BC's that I have seen don't seen to have the tread depth the Boggers have. Besides I've never had a problem (knock on wood) any Interco tires I've ran to date. I let you know how they are after the burnout contest I'm doing in two weeks.

The 54s are bad ass. The treads are deeper and the 2 rigs I watched run at Top Truck never had a problem with them. I think they are both great tires. Unless your having problems with them why change? I've never experienced a problem with my Boggers so I've got nothing bad to say about them, and as far as the BCs I've never ran them so all I can say is from what I've seen they are awesome, but the treads on the 54's seem way deeper than their smaller BCs.

@12michaelh Yes and no. The '03 and newer 5R110 Torqshift is just as strong as the Allison. I've seen Allison's break just as easy as anything else at race and pull levels. The only cool thing the Allison offered that Ford didn't until this year was the manual shifting, but as far as strength and durability they were neck and neck. Now with the new 6 Speed Torqshift it's a full on battle.
